Our friend and fellow barrel racer/WPRA and NBHA member Holly Purvis has recently been diagnosed with low grade lymphoma. Holly does not have insurance and our community has come together to raise money for her cause.
Holly has been a WPRA member for 16 years, has barrel raced as long as I have known her, and is a very special person. She is always giving of herself. She not only is a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, daughter and sister, she is an awesome friend. I feel very blessed to have her in my life. Holly is a licensed Cosmetologist and I have had the pleasure of working with her. While there, I witnessed how caring Holly was to her clients, especially to the older ones. She would go as far as to go to their homes and do their hair, manicures and pedicures or whatever they may need, whether it had to do with cosmetology or not. I once asked Holly if I got sick, would she take care of me? She responded "of course I would!"
Holly is a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Arcadia, Fl where she sings in the choir, chaperones the youth groups, goes on mission trips and helps wherever needed.
Everybody loves Holly, this is our chance to show her how much we love and care about her.

We also have a barrel race on May 16 that will also have a live auction. Some of the items donated so far are stallion breedings, a yearling colt and a 2yr old filly, a trip to the keys, and a few other things so far.
